What is it?
The Reading Room is a safe, encouraging place for kids in grades 4-8 to do their remote learning during the day. Two adults with backgrounds in teaching and mentorship will be available at all times to help answer homework questions and monitor safety.
As the weather and students’ academic schedules allow, we will provide outdoor walks/ park visits, arts and crafts time, and dance/movement opportunities throughout the day.
We hope our Reading Room can be a useful resource to parents balancing work responsibilities with their children’s online schooling.
