We would like to welcome our new dancers, as well as our returning dancers, and take this opportunity to lay out the new procedures we have instituted to help keep our dance family safe and healthy.
First and foremost, if any dancer is feeling ill or has a fever, please stay home.
We will be limiting class size to (maximum) 10 dancers in the studio at a time. Floors will be marked at 10 foot intervals to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
There will be a mandatory temperature check at the door. Anyone with a fever will be asked to not come into the studio.
The waiting area is now closed. Dancers will wait outside until the instructor invites them in. We ask that parents do not enter the studio at all and only drop off and pick up students at the front door. To our students, there will be no congregating between classes.
All students must arrive at the studio in their dance clothes, hair done. Please use hand sanitizer before and after each class.
Ballet barres will be wiped down if used during class.
We will be down to one bathroom for use only by students. Dancers, please use the bathroom before arriving at the studio.
Please bring your own water bottle. The water fountain will not be available.
All students must wear a mask for the entire time they are in the studio. All dance bags and water bottles will be brought into the studio and spaced around the room for shoe changes and water breaks.
To phase back into our "new normal", our classes will be slightly shorter to accommodate arrivals and departures as well as cleaning between classes.
We will be using disinfecting wipes and steam mopping between classes. Our teachers will be wearing masks for the duration of class. Hand sanitizer will be available for all.
We know this has been a difficult and trying time for dancers and students, working their craft in small spaces without one another to help fuel creativity. We are excited to get back into the studio and be able to once again move together while socially distanced! We will need every dancer to adhere to these new guidelines so that we can safely resume. We know that one of the core tenets of dance is self discipline and that is why we feel confident that we can open the studio and welcome back our dancers and trust that they will work together to stay healthy while gaining a solid dance education.
If you or your dancer have any questions or concerns please reach out via email, Facebook or phone and we will do our best to address any issues.
Thank you for choosing Guzman's for your dance education. We look forward to dancing together in safe, responsible and creative ways!
